Something I have never seen before----lizard eggs these were next to a stump near my husband's workshop.
Spot (our cat) was in our flower bed Watching a couple of butterflies flitter around.
On a hillside going to church are these 3 Crosses ..I tried several shots trying to get one w/o the powerlines with no success..and as for removing them in ps--had no luck at all..maybe someone else can try.
Have a great day and please stay cool as possible...
A few for the challenge
I went to a car show this past weekend and while I was editing the few shots that I liked I thought to myself "You know, you're a pretty conservative editor, perhaps you should enter a few into the challenge." So I picked some of the more interesting subjects for you guys to play with.
i've always wanted these two pics merged with me sitting on the left side of the flower. half of one shoe is missing and i could never situate far enough down in the front it so it didn't show. i came close, but, i don't think i saved it. i do have one someone sent me with a fairy on it, but, it's really small.
that, or, a helicopter coming in for a landing?
anyway, if ya can...go for it.
Bi-Weekly Challenge - Fixer
A series of photos, this time of a crow taking off. (Taken back in November of 2011; so, no retakes and what you see is what you get)
What I'm specifically looking for is a collage showing the take off sequence.
Here is what I came up with back then.
Obviously I did use all the shots. You don't have to either. Have fun.
this sunday was hot. or, should i say HOT! so, we decided to take lucy to the summers' mill dam and chillax in the water. it wasn't up to it's usual chill, but, it was still relaxing.
at least to the humans.
lucy on the other hand, fretted, chased and worried about the waterbugs constantly dancing on the surface of the stiller waters.
she jumped and bit and snorted at the water, but, she never did catch any of those pesky little things.
she did provide us with hours of fun watching her try and try to catch a bug! my sides still ache from laughing at her antics!
there was at lot of quick action and i shot these with my oly waterproof camera.
as usual it did ok.
i always seem to forget that water droplets love to stay on the lens. i had a few good action shots that they certainly messed up.
i've included one here as per the challenge. i hope someone could help me clean it up. a tight crop would suffice, but, her head is fogged a bit because of the water still stuck on the lens.
anyway, we had a nice picnic, cooled off and after a while packed up to head home.
as predicted by my hubby...(as any good tuckered out kid would do) she was crashed out in a deep slumber before the air conditioner even cooled off in the hot car we now had to ride home in.
a good time was had by all and she slept away most of the rest of the afternoon.
as did we!
Bi Weekly Challenge - Fixer
Do I ever need help on these. First I have this dreary day shot of the Mackinac Bridge that needs some help.
This pile wet leaves that were uncovered when the snow melted this spring and last but least this junk pile that needs to turned into a prince and if this isn't enough I have a whole computer full Ha! Ha!
Hotel Corner and Sunset - Challenge
While I was waiting for the keys to the Amargosa Opera House in Death Valley Junction, I wandered about the old motel a bit and took this picture of a corner off the lobby. I'm not really sure I like it, and I'm not sure what to do with it so that I will. Your creativity is invited and valued, friends.
Also, I posted this shot of a Navarre sunset awhile ago and I like it, but I welcome your ideas on it as well.
